The Lake Shawnee amusement park was a family favorite location, built in the late 1920s in West Virginia. Complete with a Ferris wheel,  a race track, a swing ride and a dance hall, It was created as a place for families to enjoy the outdoors as well as the fun environment that the Amusement Park Provided. What was hidden beneath the park’s joyful exterior, was a dark history that plagued the land long before the park was built.
